The Key access device is an interface connector for Datakey Electronics’ serial memory
Keys.
The device acts as the "keyhole" providing the physical and electrical connection between the serial Key and controller hardware. The Keyceptacle when used in combination with the memory Keys, gives the user the unique mechanical feel that customers have grown to love. It supports the interchangeable use of various capacity Keys and is designed to provide reliable connection over a long operating life of 200,000 accesses (insertions and removals). Recent improvements with the mounting design have made this an integral part of the success of the QuikPay™ product line.
